Fitness Center

Our fitness center has state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment, and has recently been remodeled to include a yoga studio. We offer personal training services and group workout classes for all levels of students. Membership information and drop in rates are provided below.

Sports Teams

We have a variety of team sports programs for girls and boys of all ages! Join a baseball, soccer, or rugby team. Many other teams from around the area also utilize our spaces.

Taekwondo

We offer individual and group classes in taekwondo. Our youth taekwondo team competes both nationally and internationally and has won various medals in the last few years. Our classes are a great opportunity to not only get in shape, but to feel empowered. We also offer self defense classes for women and girls.
Basketball

Join a pick up game or attend a local community event in this space! Located at the center of FunLimón, the basketball court (tarima) is a multi-use area for graduation ceremonies and end of year fairs.
Women’s Soccer

Our women’s soccer team provides the opportunity for women to boost their self confidence, gain leadership skills, and cultivate long lasting friendships. Many women in this rural region do not have the opportunity to participate in sports activities because it is culturally and traditionally a pastime reserved for men only. Only recently have different athletic opportunities opened for women. The team was created in 2015 and was the only women’s team in the region up until 2021.
FunLimón partners with the team on their educational paths by offering them the opportunity to take classes at FunLimón and providing university scholarships to the women that have demonstrated academic excellence and determination for pursuing their professional goals.
Men's Soccer

FunLimón provides a home field for the Limón men's baseball and soccer teams.
Men’s Baseball

Our baseball team plays at the regulation baseball field every Sunday afternoon during their season. Stop by and watch a game for a local Nicaraguan experience.
