Yerling (University Level Computer Course)

Yerling is 15 years old and lives in El Limón with her mother and sister. She attends secondary school in Las Salinas de Nagualapa. In June of 2013, Yerling began a university accredited computer course here at FunLimón. She graduated from the course in November 2013 and is now able to create Word processing documents, conduct Internet research and create Excel spreadsheets. Before entering the class, Yerling did not have any experience using computers. Now, with her university certificate and new set of computer skills, Yerling is now a competitive applicant for job and university scholarship opportunities.
