3rd Annual Discovering Tola Entrepreneurial Fair
The 2016 Discovering Tola Festival was a great success! A huge "GRACIAS" to all of our participants, visitors and volunteers. Our goal in organizing Festival Descubriendo Tola (Discovering Tola Festival) is to offer an open space for local entrepreneurs, business owners and local organizations to present their products, services and talents. The first ever Hecho en Tola fair held in 2014 was born through a partnership between UNICEF, Mukul and other local and international organizations. Three years later, we are still going stong. For this year's 2016 fair, we had over 30 entrepreneurs that displayed and sold a wide variety of handmade and local products. There was food, family fun, games, sports, Nicaraguan folklore dancing--tons to discover! We are happy to have accomplished our goal and to encourage others to #BuyLocal!
El Festival Descubriendo Tola fue un exito grande este año. ¡Agradecemos a tod@s l@s participantes, visitantes y voluntarios! Nuestro objetivo del Festival Descubriendo Tola es ofrecerle a los emprendedores, dueños de negocio, grupos artísticos y deportivos una oportunidad de exponer sus talentos, productos y servicios. La Primera Feria "Hecho en Tola" se hizo posible a traves de la coordinación con UNICEF, Mukul y otros organizaciónes locales e internacionales. Tres años despues, todavia seguimos adelante! ¡Este año, dimos la bienvenida a mas de 30 emprendedores y cumplimos la meta de promover la economia local de Tola y #CompraProductosDeLaZonaLocal!
